Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how KOA Wellness LLC handles your personal information.
KOA Wellness LLC is a California limited liability company registered in Orange County and doing business as Peptide Paradigm. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean KOA Wellness LLC. "You" means anyone who visits our websites, books a call, joins a programme, subscribes to our emails or texts, or becomes a business partner.
This policy covers ginaparlette.com and every subdomain we operate, including connect.ginaparlette.com, learn.ginaparlette.com, fit.ginaparlette.com and go.ginaparlette.com. It also covers the forms, booking pages, member areas and email and text messages we send from those properties.
It does not cover third-party services you may reach through our sites. EllieMD, Apple, Google, Skool, EverFit and any other independent platform each operate under their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to read them.

Information we collect
We collect three kinds of information: what you give us, what we collect automatically, and health-related information you choose to share.

Information we collect automatically
When you visit our sites we receive your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the links you click, the time and date of your visit, and the site or advertisement that referred you. Our email and text platform records whether messages are delivered, opened and clicked.
Health-related information
Our intake forms and coaching conversations may ask about your health history, medications, lab or bloodwork results, body measurements, goals and symptoms. You choose whether to provide this. We use it only to deliver the coaching you have asked for.
We are not a healthcare provider, a covered entity or a business associate under HIPAA, so information you share with us is not protected health information under that law. Where a licensed clinician is involved through EllieMD, the information you give that clinician is held by them under their own privacy practices, not ours.
We do not knowingly collect government identification numbers, and we ask that you never send them to us.
How we use your information
We use your information to run the business you have engaged us for, and for nothing else.
- To deliver coaching, consultations and programmes you have booked or purchased
- To schedule, confirm, remind and reschedule appointments
- To take payment and issue receipts
- To answer your questions and provide support
- To send you the emails and texts you have asked for, including programme content and announcements
- To operate member areas, the programme app and the partner resource site
- To improve our website, our offers and our content
- To keep records required for tax, accounting and legal purposes
- To protect against fraud, abuse and misuse of our services
We do not use your health information for advertising. We do not sell your information. We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing, and mobile opt-in data is never shared or sold for that purpose.
Email and text messages
We only email or text you if you have asked us to, or if the message is about something you booked or bought.
Email. When you submit a form, book a call or buy a programme, you consent to receive emails from us about that service. You may also opt in to our newsletter and educational emails. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link and a one-click unsubscribe header. Unsubscribing stops marketing email but not messages about an active booking or programme.
Text messages. By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive texts, you consent to receive SMS from Peptide Paradigm at that number, including messages sent by an automatic telephone dialling system.

We collect text consent through a clearly labelled, unticked checkbox at the point where you give us your number. We keep a record of when and how you gave that consent.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we have not sold or shared it for cross-context behavioural advertising in the past twelve months.
We share information only with the service providers that run parts of our business, and only so they can perform that work for us.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, when we must respond to lawful requests from public authorities, when we need to establish or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights and safety of any person. If the business is sold or merged, information may transfer as part of that transaction, and this policy will continue to apply until you are told otherwise.
If you engage a prescribing clinician through EllieMD, that clinician is an independent provider and not part of KOA Wellness LLC. What you share with them is held by them.
Cookies and tracking
Our sites use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember your preferences and understand how the site is used.
- Essential cookies keep you logged in, keep forms and checkout working, and protect against abuse. The site does not function without them.
- Analytics cookies tell us which pages are visited and how people move through the site, in aggregate.
- Marketing cookies measure whether an advertisement or email led to a booking.
You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop parts of the site working. Most browsers also offer a Do Not Track setting, and because there is no agreed standard for how sites should respond to it, our sites do not currently respond to those signals. We do honour recognised opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where your browser sends one.
Your privacy rights
Whoever and wherever you are, you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you marketing. Email support@ginaparlette.com and we will respond within thirty days.
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, California residents have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose, and the categories of sources and recipients
- Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Delete personal information, subject to the exceptions the law allows
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, which we do not do
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
The categories of personal information we collect are identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity, geolocation inferred from IP address, and, where you provide it, health information, which California treats as sensitive personal information. We use sensitive personal information only to provide the services you asked for, which is a use that does not trigger the right to limit.
To exercise any right, email support@ginaparlette.com with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will verify your identity by matching the details you give us against our records, and we may ask for more information if we cannot verify you. You may use an authorised agent, who must provide written permission signed by you.
Everyone else
If you are in a jurisdiction with its own data protection law, we will honour the rights that law gives you on the same terms. Email us and say which rights you are exercising.
Retention, security and where your data sits
We keep personal information for as long as we need it, then delete it.
- Client and programme records are kept for seven years after your last engagement, to meet tax and legal record-keeping obligations
- Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe, and for a short period afterwards so we can honour your opt-out
- Text consent records are kept for as long as we message you and for four years afterwards, as messaging rules require
- Website analytics are kept in aggregate and are not tied to you by name
We protect your information with access controls, two-factor authentication on the accounts that hold it, encryption in transit, and a password manager for credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We operate from the United States and our service providers store data on servers in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed there.
Children, changes and how to reach us
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email support@ginaparlette.com and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top and, if the change is significant, tell you by email. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
